A boom truck accidentally shut down the Eastlink phone and internet service in the Yarmouth area.
The “third party” truck hooked a fibre line as it drove away, ripping up the line and causing the outage.
An Eastlink crew is on the scene, working to restore services as soon as possible.
A company spokesperson said they should be finished late this afternoon or early this evening.
