Environment Canada is warning us to expect it to be hot and humid over the next three days.
There is another heat warning in effect as humidex values are predicted to reach 30 in the Tri-counties, South Shore, and Annapolis Valley.
They warn that the risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Those conditions pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
