Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for all of Western Nova Scotia.
Humidex values are expected to reach 35 over the next 2 days as a warm and humid airmass will move into the area today and persist tomorrow.
Maximum daytime temperatures here in SW NS are expected to be near 29 degrees both days with minimum overnight temperatures around 17 degrees, providing little relief from the heat.
Temperatures, of course, will be a bit cooler along the coast where southwest winds blow onshore.
We should get relief Wednesday night and into Thursday morning as a cold front sweeps across the province.
