The Clare-Digby Midget A Ravens earned gold in the annual SEDMHA Tournament this weekend, defeating the Bedford Blues 5-4 in the championship game, bringing home an Accord Championship banner.
The Clare-Digby Midget A Ravens opened play with a 4-1 loss to the Sackville Flyers, in the Odyssey Championship division.
The second game saw the Clare-Digby Midget A Ravens beat the Dartmouth Whalers with a 6-4 win.
The Ravens third game, with a 4-2 loss versus Queens County Cougars saw them drop down to the Accord Division.
The semi-final game saw the Ravens edge out the Eastern Shore Mariners with a 3-2 win during a nail-biting shoot-out.
In the championship game, the Ravens clipped the Bedford Blues 5-4 in a 3 on 3 overtime. Ryan Gunn, the Clare-Digby Ravens captain scored the winning goal, assisted by Myles Titus. Player of the game was Dustin Maillet.
