here will be a farewell party for the Yarmouth dispatchers Monday night.
One of the organizers, David Outhouse, tells CJLS News why they’re putting on the event.
“They’ve always had our backs, they’ve always been there for us, so this is just a way to give back, to say thanks for everything they’ve done for every fire department that’s ever needed them”
He explains what will take place.
“There’s going to be a public opening, there’s going to be some cakes, some light refreshments, you can come out, you can say goodbye, give them best wishes, thanks, let them know that we supported them right up to the end”
The farewell party, which is open to the public, starts at 7:00 Monday night at the Yarmouth Fire Department.
