Look for more relief at the pumps.
Dan McTeague of gasbuddy.com tells CJLS News the price should continue to fall.
“It might be worth waiting until midnight tonight as gas prices are set to fall at least 3 cents a litre and about a penny and a half for diesel”
McTeague says oil prices and carbon taxes will make the price rise again in another month or two.
“I’m thinking the price may continue to meander in this area for the next couple of weeks but come February, March, April, and May, we going to see prices rebuild, we could be back in the dollar twenty-five range at or near the Canada Day long weekend and perhaps even before that on the Victoria Day long weekend”
He feels oil prices will begin to rebound and carbon taxes will kick in by then.
