Mayor Pam Mood says the most popular way to advertise are still homemade signs.
“They nail them up, they screw them up, they tape them up. If you have a yard sale sign, please remove it after 24 hours, otherwise it just becomes litter.”
Mood says the town doesn’t want to be heavy-handed with by-laws and hopes people cooperate, but she does remind folks the town does have a litter bylaw.
