The fall sitting of the legislature wrapped up last week.
The McNeil government is boasting what it calls a solid fiscal plan.
During the sitting 25 bills were passed, including legislation reducing red tape for new businesses, prohibiting conversion therapy, and removing interprovincial trade barriers.
The province also made moves to replace the Motor Vehicle Act with the new Traffic Safety Act – that will go into effect next year.
Other bills passed include greater protection for domestic animals and tougher regulations on funeral homes and crematoriums.
Although the legislature has wrapped for the fall, eyes will still be on the McNeil government as the next steps in the $2 billion QE II Health Sciences Centre expansion and rebuild.
