One person was injured after the pick-up truck he was driving left Highway 101 this morning.
It happened around 10 o’clock Saturday north of Exit 33 in Beaver River.
Dwayne Lowe, Deputy Chief of the Port Maitland Fire Department, tells CJLS News the driver, who was the lone occupant of the truck, managed to get out of the vehicle on his own through a rear door.
The truck had left the highway and travelled a ways off the road before striking some trees.
Lowe says the man was transported to Yarmouth Regional hospital by EHS.
The extent of his injuries are not known.
Meanwhile. around the same time, there was a separate single-vehicle accident involving an RCMP SUV.
There are no details.
The RCMP are not releasing any information, at least not at this time.
