If you’ve recently purchased coleslaw at the grocery store, you may want to check the crisper in your fridge.
The Canada Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for Randsland brand Broccoli Slaw, which had originally been recalled back on August 3rd.
The CFIA says there’s a possibility the product may be contaminated with Lysteria Monocytogenes, which could produce symptoms of vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness, if ingested.
The Slaw comes in 350 gram packages and should either be thrown out or returned to the store where purchased.
At this point, there have been no illnesses reported to the CFIA or Health Canada.
