A $1.76 million dollar replacement of the bridge is on schedule according to the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal.
Don Houston with the Yarmouth office says the project, which began the first of this month, is expected to be completed in November.
He says there have been some complaints from people that detour signs in the area are confusing and not properly placed.
“We have erected more signs since the initial start-up but it does seem to be getting better. There’s still problems with some people not paying attention and will get through the signs and end up down that way.”
The work involves the construction of a 15-metre long pre-cast concrete bridge.
