The CEO of Bay Ferries is pleased with July’s passenger numbers for the Cat ferry. Mark MacDonald says 13, 313 passengers sailed on the Cat between Yarmouth and Portland, Maine, an increase of about 12 per cent over the same period last year. He says that’s consistent with what the company saw in June. A conversation with Mark MacDonald.
A swimmer from Yarmouth is taking a ‘Big Swim’ today. Bobby-Lou Reardon is once again involved in the 14 kilometre swim in the Northumberland Strait, from New Brunswick to PEI. It’s all to raise funds for Brigadoon Village, a cause near and dear to her heart. We spoke with Reardon earlier this week.
