The U13 girls Yarmouth Petvalu Clippers played their last three games of the regular season this week.
On Wednesday the Petvalu Clippers hosted Digby and won 2-0. Scoring for the Clippers were Zara Hemani and Carly Kini.
On Sunday, The Petvalu Clippers played a pair of away games. The Clippers lost their first game against Middleton 2-nil. The Clippers also lost a close second game 2-1 against Kingston/ Greenwood. Scoring for the Clippers in that game was Carly Kini.
Emily Nickerson was in net for all three games.
The Petvalu will finish their regular season in third place and await final rankings to determine who they will play in playdowns the week of August 20th.
The U13 Boys Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers won Bronze at the Bruce Wagner Tournament in Upper Sackville on the weekend.
The team suffered their only loss of the season there, and had actually defeated the eventual tournament winner 2-0 in the round robin.
Scoring were Cameron Brown with 5 goals, Riley Hubbard with 4, Liam Mosley with 2, and Boston Aldred, Owen Fitzgerald and Brody Thurston also tallying.
Seamus d’Entremont was stellar in net recording 2 shutouts and allowing only 5 goals total in 5 games.
