The MLA for Argyle-Barrington is worried the province could decide to close the Roseway Hospital in Shelburne because of on-going ER closures.
The emergency room was recently closed a total of 104 hours including through the long weekend.
He says the Liberals have broken the health care system and only seem to have one solution.
“We need to have a government that realizes it’s broken and to start really fixing it. Having Roseway closed as much as it’s closed worries me that the ultimate idea is to close it forever like they did in North Sydney. I feel really bad for the people of Shelburne and the people in my constituency of western Shelburne County.”
d’Entremont says people in that area rely on and need the ER at Roseway to be open 24/7.
