After a short break, the extreme heat is back.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning.
Daytime highs will reach 30 degrees across much of our province today.
Humidex values will reach near 33.
Humidity levels will gradually increase tomorrow pushing those humidex values to 36 or higher.
On Thursday, cloudiness and scattered showers will move into the region but the high temperatures and humidity will continue for the remainder of the week and well into the weekend.
Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
