The Municipality of Argyle are putting the finishing touches on a three year project.
At 12 locations throughout the municipality, directional signage has been put in place to provide directions to various businesses.
The number of signs will expand to 29 over the next week.
Charlene LeBlanc, community development officer in Argyle says there are a lot of perks to having these signs.
“They are directional signage for tourists, but they let the locals know what we have so they can be tourism ambassadors themselves. The signs also give Argyle a distinct look. When you see those burgundy signs, you know you’re in Argyle.”
She says the municipality covers many villages, and sometimes it’s hard to find your way around.
LeBlanc says more signs will be available to order each year.
