The emergency department at Digby General Hospital will be closed tonight and overnight.
The department will be shutdown starting at 6pm and will re-open tomorrow morning at 8.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says this is due to a lack of physician coverage.
They say those with an emergency should always call 911, and general health concerns can be directed to 811.
