The Roaring 20’s Antique Auto Club’s Classic Car Show during Seafest was well attended.
Thousands of people were in downtown Yarmouth for the three-day event, which included a cruise through Main Street Friday night, followed by the show itself on Saturday and Sunday.
Roaring 20’s member Brent Bullerwell says the number of vehicles that participated has been slowly growing over the years.
“Last count was 539 vehicles over the course of the weekend, and estimated accounts have been in the range of 625.”
Bullerwell says they started with just 200 cars during the first year of the show on Main Street.
This year, the extra day on Sunday was added, and he says the club plans to have a three day event next year as well, scheduled for the 19th to the 21st of July, 2019.
“That’s the plan for now, as time goes forward we’ll see what the demand necessitates.”
The Classic Car Show has become a signature event for Seafest, which also wrapped up on Sunday.
