The candidates vying to become the next provincial Progressive Conservative leader will be in Tusket tomorrow night.
Elizabeth Smith-McCrossin, John Lohr, Tim Houston, Cecil Clarke and Julie Chaisson will be at the Centre Communautaire de Par-en-bas for a leadership debate.
The debate will be moderated by Chris d’Entremont, Argyle-Barrington MLA and Leadership Selection Committee Co-Chair, and Norbert LeBlanc, President of Conseil acadien de Par-en-bas (CAPEB), acting president of the Acadien Federation of Nova Scotia, and a retired educator.
d’Entremont says the five hopefulls will lay out their visions for Southwest Nova Scotia.
“Five or six questions, with two of them from the crowd. We know issues like education and the economy and health will be discussed. It’s a great opportunity for the candidates to come to our local area.”
The debate begins at 7pm
There are free tickets at the door, and it’s first come-first served.
