A pair of Yarmouth Whitecaps returned late last night from a four day Championship Swim Meet in Halifax at Dalplex with 25 teams from Atlantic Canada and Ontario attending.
Mary Beth Brown had an outstanding finish to her age group swimming in the 100 free doing a 1:01.49 for 8th place in the Senior Women’s event.
She also had an 8th place finish in the 50 Breast, 2nd in the B Final of the 50 Free, 3rd in the B final of the 50 Fly, 5th in the B Final of the 100 Breast and 7th in the B Final of the 100 Fly.
Mary Beth will be swimming for the Acadia Axemen next year.
Alec d’Entremont placed 3rd in the B Final of the 200 Breast and 8th in the B Final of the 50 Breast.
This was their final meet for the season.
