In northern Thailand, Thai officials confirm four out of 12 children trapped in a flooded cave have been rescued.
A rescue is underway of the Wild Boars soccer team and their coach, who have been underground for 15 days.
In a press conference, rescue head and former governor of the city of Chiang Rai, Narongsak Osottanakorn, confirms the four are safely out of the cave, but officials have stopped the operation for now to refill oxygen tanks.
He says they will have to wait between ten and 20 hours before they can try to bring any more of the team to the surface.
The official adds they also need to wait until conditions in the flooded cave become stable.
Reports from multiple media outlets say two of the boys have been taken to hospital for treatment.
They were discovered by British divers on Monday night after getting trapped in the flooded caves.
American President Donald Trump is tweeting his government is working closely with Thailand to help with the rescue.
