There’s been no stopping a young man in Yarmouth County in his quest to help kids.
Alec d’Entremont of Belleville took on the Great Cycle Challenge to raise money in the fight against the number 1 killer of kids.
Alec, one of 14,000 riders who took part across Canada, says he’s raised $4,400, far surpassing his original goal for cancer research.
“I started off at $1000, but it kept rising and people kept donating”
He rode 308 kilometres in the month of June.
d’Entremont says he got a lot of encouragement with many people waving and cheering him on as he rode by.
He says he’s very grateful for all the support.
You can still donate by going to The Great Cycle Challenge and enter Alec’s name. https://greatcyclechallenge.ca/
