The province has announced major road and infrastructure work for Yarmouth County.
MLA Zach Churchill was at the Pembroke Community Hall last night to make the announcement.
He says tells Acadia News about one big, long-awaited project.
“There’s going to a million dollar replacement of the causeway on the way to Cape Forchu. That will include the replacement of the bridge and maintenance to the sea wall and armor stone.”
Churchill says the Wyman Road will be completely redone, the paved part of the Caanan Road will be finished and the gravel section will be rebuilt.
Also the gravel part of Leighton Street will be rebuilt.
Churchill also announced $35,000 for the Pembroke Hall.
