Residents of Ontario are going to the polls today in what looks to be one of the most hard-fought provincial elections in recent history.
Premier Kathleen Wynne conceded last week her Liberals would not win this contest.
That leaves the Progessive Cpnservatives under Doug Ford to duke it out with Andrea Horwath and the New Democratic Party.

Marieke Walsh, reporter with ipolitics.ca has been covering the election from the start.
She says confusion surrounded many of the candidates.
“In an election where many people say the choices on offer aren’t very strong to begin with, chaos was the name of the game. And in their own way, every party tried to push the chaos theory.”
Walsh says the use of attack ads and mudslinging by all three parties may also put off some voters.
“Once the campaign is in the gutter, if there is more negative news coming out, I think some people almost tune out from it after a while because they’re sick of it.”
Ontarians will learn who will lead their province after polls close tonight at 9:00pm Eastern Time.
