Congratulations to the Maple Grove Track and Field athletes who capped off a very successful season by competing at the provincial championships in Sydney, Nova Scotia this past weekend.
In the junior boys category Owen Hemeon finished in 7th place in the 100 meter and 200 m run and 9th place in the javelin.
Ben LeBlanc finished 5th in the 100m hurdles.
The Boys 100m relay team finished 8th and consisted of Owen Hemeon, Ben LebLanc, Dorion Clements and Haydon Fevens.
In Junior Girls category, Ellie Hiltz placed 11th in the 1500m and 12th in the 800 meter race.
Laura Hanlon placed 11th in the javelin.
Karli MacDonald placed 12th in the discus.
Zoe Schwan placed 8th in the shot put and placed 5th in the discus.
