Members of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union will elect their next president today.
Two candidates, Grant Frost and Paul Wozney are the two names remaining on the ballot.
A first ballot last week saw three candidates drop off the ticket including Cherie Abriel, Shawn Hanifen and current NSTU president Liette
Doucet.
The NSTU president must be elected by a majority vote of 50 percent plus one.
More than 10,000 members began electronic voting at six o’clock this morning.
Polls will close at 9:00pm and the results are expected about an hour after that.
Polls are now open for the run-off vote to select the next President of the NSTU. The final two candidates are @frost4prez18 and @PaulWozney. Polls close tonight at 8:00 pm. The final result should be released by 9:00 pm. #nspoli
