The Municipality of Shelburne is trying to develop a strategic plan for recreation services.
They are hosting two public sessions today, the first one starting at 1:30 at the Sandy Point Community Centre.
Lisa Locke, recreation coordinator for the municipality says they are looking for feedback.
“All the input that we get will be gathered into the strategic plan and help us move forward over the next three years as we look at upgrading facilities or creating new programs.”
Locke says right now, they offer a lot of recreation programs for children.
She says they’d like to develop more options for adults, and to become more inclusive to serve all residents with the best recreation services possible.
The second meeting starts at 6:30 tonight, also in Sandy Point.
