The Yarmouth Hospital Foundation wants you to consider them in your will.
It’s ‘Leave A Legacy’ month, and the foundation is raising awareness about the program.
Paulette Sweeney-Goodwin, Managing Director of the YHF says by leaving a gift in your will to the foundation, it will enhance health care in your community.
She says there are two main items they want to focus on.
“We hope every adult has an up-to-date will, and also we encourage individuals to leave a gift to their favourite registered charity in their will. The foundation has been part of ‘Leave A Legacy’ for 15 years now.”
She says a certain sum of money, an asset or portion of an estate can be designated.
“Regardless of the charity of charities people choose, it leaves an impact and speaks volumes of the giver.”
