Three individuals and one team were welcomed into the Yarmouth Town and County Sports Heritage Hall of Fame Saturday night.

Tessa Boudreau is a former Dalhousie Tigers women’s hockey player, and represented Nova Scotia at the Canada Games in 2007.
Boudreau says it’s an honour to be inducted.
“It’s overwhelming. There are so many people to thank who have got me here today, including my parents. I’m very happy to receive this honour.”

Also inducted: runner Bryan Hipson, swimmer Shannon Smith and the 1987 provincial champion Mosquito D baseball team.
The ceremony was held at the Rodd Grand Hotel.
Baseball coach and player Mike Scott, who has played the game all over Canada on various teams was named the Jim Hatfield Memorial Baseball Award winner.
He told numerous stories of great plays and games in his acceptance speech.
Scott says the honour means a lot to him and his family.
“To share it with my family, that’s a big part of what we are as a family, we share all of that together.”
