RCMP continue to investigate after a woman’s body was found this morning in Dayspring.
Shortly after 8:00am members of the RCMP’s Lunenburg detachment responded to a call that a woman’s body was discovered along the bank of the LaHave River.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow and police say they don’t suspect foul play.
RCMP are still looking to establish the circumstances of the death and the identity of the deceased.
Highway three was closed for several hours while Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Service and RCMP investigated.
The investigation is ongoing.
