Another federal funding announcement was made on Friday.
West Nova MP Colin Fraser announced that two facilities in his riding would receive a combined $16,339 for accessibility upgrades.
The Digby Royal Canadian Legion Branch 20 will get $10,000 for the construction of accessible washrooms.
The rest will go to a church in Bridgetown.
In a release, Fraser says he thanks both organizations for applying for funding, as government always tries to help Canadians of all abilities to fully participate in and contribute to their communities.
The money comes through the Enabling Accessibility Fund.
