Meteghan first responders are hosting a meet and greet tomorrow.
It will be held at the Meteghan Fire Department and RCMP station from 10-2.
There will be firefighters, DNR, DFO, Clare Search and Rescue and RCMP.
Constable Mario Gougeon with the Meteghan RCMP says it’s a chance for the public to learn more about what they do.
“That’s what it’s all about. It’s about the families, and mingling and asking general questions. We want to show that we’re more than just a uniform, we’re there for the public.”
The event wraps up Police Week.
There will be free hot dogs, water and pop, and games for the kids.
