A bump in gas prices before the Victoria Day long weekend.
The price of regular self serve went up 2.8 cents a litre at midnight, and is now over $1.33 a litre in Yarmouth for the first time since 2014.
Yesterday, Gasbuddy.com’s Dan McTeague told us to expect the price of gas to remain high through the summer months, with another increase coming sometime around mid-June.
The price of diesel also increased overnight, and is now over $1.26 a litre in Yarmouth.
