Which way will the price of gas go at midnight?
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says it doesn’t look like they’ll be any change at the pumps.
“I think some of the changes we’ll see will likely take place next week, in light of us hitting $70 oil right across North America over the past couple of days.”
He says however, diesel could go up by a penny or so.
McTeague says the regulatory board tends to average out prices, and if they don’t see a big move, they usually don’t change prices.
He says however it’s interesting to see what benchmarks they use, and there isn’t much consistency.
