Canadian Blood Services is in need of blood donations.
CBS wants to build up on as much supply as they can for the Victoria Day weekend.
Peter MacDonald of Canadian Blood Services says that they had a successful clinic in Clare last Monday night.
“We exceeded the target of 96 units, we collected 103, so thanks so much to the community of Clare for stepping up. ” We’re working to ensure that blood is in good supply as we head to the May long weekend.”
Today and Wednesday CBS will be in Yarmouth at the NSCC Burridge Campus from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Thursday there’ll be a clinic at the Lion’s Club in Barrington Passage from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
