The fifth annual ‘Best of YAS Awards’ were presented last night.
Many people attended the reception and ceremony at Murray GM.
After a month-long period where the public voted for their favourite tourism operators in various categories.
The Yarmouth and Acadian Shores Tourism Association handed out the awards celebrating over 40 local businesses and the success of the local tourism industry.
Local musicians Alyssa and Alexa provided the entertainment and the Shanty Cafe provided a sampling of their of their foods.
Julien d’Entremont, a Yarmouth area native and contestant on CBC’s the great Canadian Baking Show, was a special guest providing some of his samples.
