Motorists will have to be patient when using Exit 26 on Highway 103 in Shelburne for a few months.
A major project to improve traffic flow and safety begins tomorrow.
The upgrade is listed as a priority in the province’s most recent five-year highway improvement plan for 2017-18.
Lyle Russell , project engineer with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal says many improvements will be made.
“We’re adding acceleration and deceleration lanes for the exit, new signage, guard rail improvements and improved lighting.”
Work is scheduled to be complete by the end of February 2018.
