Spokesperson Fraser Mooney says they want to hear the concerns of residents firsthand.
“Certainly looking forward to listening to what people have to say about their experiences with the health system and some of their thoughts on access to primary health care and emergency care. So we’re looking forward to listening and bringing some of that information back to help us in our planning.
Mooney says the Health Authority is keen to listen.
“We’re going to have conversations with people probably before and after the meeting and hope to meet with the MLA and the mayor and perhaps other representatives. But not a formal presentation at the meeting itself.”
Roseway Hospital’s Site Manager Jodi Ybarra will be in the audience along with the Health Authority’s Tamara Gilley.
The meeting gets underway Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm in the Shelburne Community Centre Auditorium.
