Once again the Municipality of Argyle will be presenting “Experience Argyle”.
It’s a semi-formal event divided into two, one-hour segments, a “Showcase of Argyle” and a “Taste of Argyle”.
The Showcase highlights local talent in a variety of performances including music and storytelling.
Deputy Clerk Chris Frotten says they will be featuring two guest speakers.
“We’re lucky to have Tim Doucette, a local astronomer in Quinan in our municipality and Graham Steele, a former MLA and cabinet minister will speak on citizen engagement.”
Frotten says the “Taste of Argyle” will give guests a chance to sample local cuisine from 8 different restaurants and vendors from within the municipality.
The event takes place Thursday, November 16 from 6 to 8pm.
The ‘Showcase of Argyle’ will be in the Salle Pere Maurice LeBlanc Theatre.
The ‘Taste of Argyle’ will be held in the cafeteria of Ecole-par-en-bas.
Tickets for the event are $10 and can be purchased at the Argyle Municipal Office, local Coastal Financial branches and at the door.
All proceeds will go to the Argyle Emergency Aid Fund which has been created to help provide aid to residents in emergency situations.
