In a news release, police say just before to 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Meteghan RCMP responded to the Bangor Road in Bangor.
They say a car left the road and landed on it’s roof in Eel Lake.
The body of a 19-year-old Saulnierville man was discovered when the vehicle was towed from the lake.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the investigation is continuing with the assistance of an RCMP Collision Analyst, who attended the scene.
