That’s the official opening of the building housing the Handicapped Organization Promoting Equality and the Yarmouth Dial-a-Ride.
Last winter was rough for the organization when they were flooded out of their previous location.
Doug Thistle HOPE board member and Project Coordinator says the new facility has breathed new life into the organization and staff and clients are excited.
He says the inside of the building is complete.
“There’s still some outside work to be done, the weather has held us up a bit but we want to get the building opened up for people to see especially for those who have donated to the building. We’re hoping for a good turnout.”
The new building is located on Bond Street.
