Yarmouth Town RCMP say the public has been very helpful as it continues the investigation into an armed robbery at a gas station convenience store.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Starrs Road Irving just after 4am last Thursday.
A lone male entered the store, brandishing a knife and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Cpl. John Stoddart says they appreciate the public’s assistance.
“We’ve had numerous tips and leads with respect to that robbery. Our plainclothes unit and general duty members are following up on those leads and we certainly appreciate the public for providing us with information.”
The man is described as being 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall, medium build, he was wearing a dark blue hoodie, jeans and rubber boots.
His face was partially covered by the hoodie.
