RCMP are still saying little about an incident Friday which saw a heavy police presence on the Tinkham Road.
An adult male was arrested and will appear in court today in Yarmouth facing approximately 30 charges.
Over the weekend Cst. Tammy Lobb of the Nova Scotia RCMP would give no other details and said no media releases would likely be issued.
The man’s name has not been released nor have details of the charges.
CJLS News was told of Friday that the original call came in to the Town RCMP detachment and involved a firearm.
That complaint led police to block off the Tinkham Road.
However on the weekend RCMP would not confirm a firearm was involved
The Tinkham Road was reopened early Friday evening but officers were telling residents to keep their doors locked.
