Environment Canada is issuing a heavy rainfall warning for the southwestern part of the province.
They say a low pressure system that passed over the eastern United States has made land fall in Nova Scoita.
It’s expected to bring up to 50mm of rain through Monday.
Queens, Shelburne, and Yarmouth Counties are expected to get the worst of the wet weather.
The rain should taper off by Tuesday to become mostly cloudy.
