Funding is coming for the library at Universite Sainte-Anne.
A big investment from the federal government, $440,000 will go towards renovations to the facility.
This will help create a digitization library, a study support centre and a video-conference room.
The library was built in 1977.
In a release, West Nova MP Colin Fraser says this will enable the institution to offer cutting-edge technology services to the French-speaking university community it serves.
In a separate announcement, federal money is going to Digby Town Hall.
$12,250 will be used to construct a new wheelchair ramp, install automatic doors and make renovations to a washroom.
