RCMP in Nova Scotia are cooperating with police agencies across Eastern and Atlantic Canada after two people were arrested in connection with a spree of thefts.
33-year old Alicia Maureen MacDonald, and 41-year old Rommel Jimenez from Ontario are facing a combined total of 58 criminal charges.
They range from possession of property obtained by crime, to weapons and forgery charges.
The pair are believed to be involved in numerous frauds and thefts in every province between Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador.
RCMP officers report many items of stolen property were seized during the arrest including several pieces of identification and credit cards.
The various police agencies are working together to try to find the owners of the stolen property.
