A familiar face has returned home and her skills are already being put to use by the Western Regional Enterprise Network.
Brenda LaGrandeur is the new Connector Program Manager.
Warner Comeau, WRENs board chair, says her extensive local community and economic development experiences are a huge asset.
“Brenda is well connected and has a good network in the area from her past position as an economic development officer and her other work. She’s going to be able to, with those links, enhance our efforts in the Connector Program which we recently received funding for.
At WREN’s 3rd Annual Summit in March, the province announced $100,000 to expand the Connector Program into the Western Region.
It’s designed to connect young people and newcomers with business and community leaders.
LaGrandeur’s first day on the job was Monday.
