About a dozen people braved the cold Friday night in downtown Yarmouth.
They camped out at Alma Square as part of SHYFT Youth Services first ever ‘Homeless for a Night’ fundraiser.

The goal of the event was to raise awareness and to experience the reality of homelessness.
Speaking on scene, Shannon Watkins, the Fundraising Coordinator says things were going great.
There was music from Elizabeth Wright and the Sounds of Colour, Connie Saulnier and more.
Money was also raised for SHYFT and the services they provide to at-risk youth.
