The West Pubnico Pharmasave Peewee B Mariners played in the SEDMHA tournament in Halifax over the weekend.
They lost 9-1 to Halifax Red in the first game, with Carson d’Eon scoring the lone goal assisted by Isaac Tunnicliff. Braeden Hipson faced 54 shots and was player of the game.
They won their second game 3-0 over Acadia. Carson d’Eon scored twice, Isaac Tunnicliff scored, assists went to Lucas d’Entremont, Daniel Kenney and Krew Goodwin. Braeden Hipson faced 16 shots and Blake Lyons was player of the game.
The Mariners pulled out a 6-2 win over Chebucto in the quarterfinals. Blake Lyons, Krew Goodwin, Tyler Adams, Riley Hubbard, Daniel Kenney and Lucas d’Entremont all had goals. Assists went to Tyler Adams, Daniel Kenney, Lucas d’Entremont and Carson d’Eon. Braeden Hipson faced 32 shots and Tyler Adams was player of the game.
It was a 9-0 loss to Bedford in the semi finals. Nolan Saulnier was player of the game and Braeden Hipson faced 48 shots.
