Nova Scotia’s opposition party will host a town hall on education tonight in Yarmouth County.
The Progressive Conservatives are facilitating the meeting at Ecole Par-en-Bas (PAR-on-BAH) in Tusket from 7:30-9.
Party leader Jamie Baillie will be in attendance.
Argyle-Barrington PC MLA Chris d’Entremont says people are still asking what the next steps are in education after the teacher labour dispute with the Liberals.
“It’s good to sit down them and hear what their outlook on education is. It’s good to have as much information as possible before we go into the House of Assembly to fight for Nova Scotians on what the Liberals are doing or not doing.””
d’Entremont says teachers, parents, students and concerned community members are invited to share their experiences and stories about the education system.
